Decent app for the beginner in setting up light patterns or a review for the more advanced photographer.

I was excited to get this, but there are issues with it, especially in the 3D model mode, the first four lighting styles are not reflective of the actual style being used, all of them are showing 0 degrees angle, 45 degrees height and 0 power on the actual model, but accompanying text shows the changes. The two light setups are not accurate, the left lights are showing as brighter even though the text says the power etc is the same. Looking forward to the update to fix these issues.

Great app to get some classic lighting techniques down and then put a spin on them yourself.

First I want to say to those who say this program is buggy, it works fine for me. Yes, I thought it was buggy too, but then I checked and saw I needed to update the iOS to the latest version. I am also using an iPod touch 4. With that out of the way, Id like to heap some praise on this great app. LightStudio allows a person to experiment with lighting angles to get more flattering photos. Suggestions for future updates: allow the lights to get closer or farther from the subject, and let us also be able to adjust diffusion. The pinch method does work to affect the brightness levels, but barely. I have to pinch over and over sometimes before anything happens.

This app has helped give me some direction in studio lighting. I am a beginner at studio shooting so any help is money well spent. I think the app has a lot going for it and will become a very useful tool to demonstrate different lighting effects.

Crashes on startup. Save your money.

Crushes at startup horrible company. Its been 3 months already that I have downloaded and still they havent fixed it

Great app for beginners. It gives you the basis lighting techniques.

Still no change! As it crushed when I downloaded it, it crushes now. No bug fix, no reaction of authors! Please avoid downloading until they fix it.

This could have been a great app if it wasnt filled with bugs and had more complex lighting diagrams. Dont buy!
